GODSENT, MAD Lions qualify for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown

The two teams will join the likes of Evil Geniuses, Complexity, and Liquid on the team list for the last-chance event.

GODSENT and MAD Lions have topped Elisa Invitational 2, prevailing over HEROIC and HAVU, respectively, to secure spots in the BLAST Premier Fall Showdown.

Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend's side were the first to claim their berth, edging out a two-map series victory over Casper "⁠cadiaN⁠" Møller's crew. Amidst reports that Jesse "⁠zehN⁠" Linjala could be on his way to ENCE, the international team came back from 5-10 deficits on Nuke and Overpass, with the Finnish rifler playing a key role throughout the series, especially on the final map, where he posted a 32-17 K-D and a 1.59 rating to help his side take the series.

Meanwhile, MAD Lions were able to fend off HAVU in a series that went the distance, with the two teams taking each other's map picks before clashing in a Train decider. There, the Danish roster edged out a one-round lead at the end of their offensive effort before assuming firm control on the CT side, conceding only four rounds en route to a 16-11 finish.
