The hosting country of France has been without representatives in the Counter-Strike competition after BURNING! suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Frag eXecutors. The former Millenium team did start out the better, winning the first map, de_nuke, 16:13, but FX got back into the game and won de_tuscan and de_dust2 16:9 and 16:10, respectively.
The current ESWC holders will meet in the semi finals SK Gaming, who eased past compLexity 2:0, with 16:5 and 16:4 the map scores.
After beating fnatic 2-0 in the quarter finals, Na´Vi will take on mTw, who have been riding high on form in the competition and will come into this match on the back of a 2-0 thrashing of FireGamers.
