Two days before the DreamHack Open Rio is set to start, AGO announced that they would not be attending the event due to the illness of one of their players.
The Polish side was one of the squads invited to the event, and they were placed in group B alongside Valiance, Sharks, and W7M. According to cybersport.pl, the reason they decided to pull out is Dominik "GruBy" Swiderski's ear infection, which prevents him from hearing on one ear.
Now, DreamHack Open Rio is down to seven participants, with a replacement for AGO currently unknown. Earlier this month, Luminosity pulled out of the tournament to play ESL Pro League Group C, with INTZ coming in as a replacement.
