In the first semi-final, the Kazakh side AVANGAR took North Academy by surprise, topping the series 2-1 (Mirage 16-7, Train 8-16, Cobblestone 16-7) on the back of great displays from Timur "buster" Tulepov, who finished the best-of-three with a 1.55 rating and 104.5 ADR.
Imperial were no match for Spirit on the other side, as Sergey "starix" Ischuk's team eased past the Bulgarians after conceding only eight rounds across two maps, Cobblestone and Inferno.
The Russian-Ukrainian mixture carried their momentum to the grand final, which they began by winning Inferno 16-4 before Mirage went the distance, with Spirit clinching the title at 16-14.
